މިނިވަން އެޑިޓޯރިއަލް - އިސްލާޙުކުރި ގާނޫނު އަސާސީ ތަސްދީގު ނުކުރުމަށް އަދިވެސް ދެއްކުނު ބޮޑަލެއް ސަރުކާރުން ދައްކަމުން ގެންދާނޭކަމުގައި، ގިނަ ބަޔަކު ދެކެއެވެ. ތަސްދީގުނުކޮށް ހިފަހަށްޓާ ސަބަބުތައް، މިހާރު މިދަނީ އާންމުންގެ ލޯތަކަށާއި، ބައިނަލް އަގްވާމީ ފަރާތްތަކަށް ފާޅުވަމުން ތިލަވަމުންނެވެ. ފުލުހުންގެ ބިލް އަވަސް އަވަހަށް ފާސްކޮށްލުމަކީވެސް، މި ހީލަތްތެރި ރޭވުމުގެ ތެރެއިން ހިންގިކަމެކެވެ. ރައީސް މައުމޫނާއި ރައްޔިތުންގެ މަޖިލީހުގައި ތިބި އޭނާގެ އައުވާނުންގެ މަސްލަހަތަށް އިންތިގާލީ ދަނޑިވަޅުގައި ހަރަކާތްތެރި ވަނީއެވެ.
ޑރ. ޝުމައިޒަރ ގެ އަގުވައްޓާލީ، އިންތިގާލީ ބާބު ފުނޑާލުމުގެ ބޭނުމުގައި، ލީގަލް ރިފޯމް މިނިސްޓަރާއި ކަމިޝަނަރު އަދި ބަންޑާރަ ނައިބުގެ އެހީގައެވެ. ބޭނުމަކީ ރައީސް ގެ އަތުގައި ފުލުހުން ރުކުރުވާލުމުގެ ބާރު ހިފެހެއްޓުމެވެ. މީހުން ހިފާ ހައްޔަރުކުރުމަށް މިހާރުގެ މަޖިލީހުގެ ތައްގަނޑެއް ހޯދުމެވެ. ހަމަ އެފަދައިން، މިހާރު މިއޮތް 1997 ގެ ގާނޫނު އަސާސީގައި، ރައީސަށް ދީފައިވާ ހުރިހާ ބާރެއް ރައީސަށް އޮތަދިނުމަށެވެ. އެހެންކަމަށް ވާނަމަ، އެ އަސާސީގެ ދަށުން ހުކުމްކޮށްފައިވާ މީހުންގެ ހުކުމްތައް އެއޮތްގޮތަށް ބޭއްވުމަކީވެސް، މި ސަރުކާރުގެ ބޭނުމެކެވެ. މިކަން ކުރުމަށްޓަކައި މަޖިލީހުގެ ބާރު ކަނޑުވާލައި، ރައީސްގެ ބާރުތައް އިތުރަށް ވަރުގަދަކުރާން ޖެހެއެވެ. މާނައަކީ އެއްވެސް މުސްތަގިއްލު މުއައްސަސާއެއް ހަގީގަތުގައި މަސައްކަތްކުރިޔަ ނުދިނުމެވެ. އިންތިގާލީ މަރުހަލާ ތަޅުލުމެވެ.
އުފައްދަން ޖެހޭ އިލެކްޝަން ކަމިޝަނަށްވެސް މެމްބަރުން ހޮވާނީ ރައްޔިތުންގެ މަޖިލީހުންނެވެ. އެހެނަސް އެ މަޖިލީހުގައި އެކަން އެމަޖިލީހުގެ ބާރުގައި ހިނގިޔަނުދިނުމަށް، ރައީސް އެބަ މަސައްކަތްކުރެއެވެ. އިލެކްޝަން ކަމިޝަން، ސްޕްރީމް ކޯޓު އޭރުން އޮންނާނީ، ހިއުމަން ރައިޓްސް ކަމިޝަން ފަދައިން މައުމޫނަށް އޮޅު ދެކުއްތާގެ ސިފައިގައެވެ. ވޯޓުއޮޅުވާލާ އެއޮޅުވާލުން ސައްޙަކޮށް އިންތިޚާބު ކާމިޔާބުކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.
މިހުރިހާ އުނދަގުލަކާއި ރައްޔިތުން ކުރިމަތިލާން މި ޖެހުނީ އިންތިގާލީ ބާބު ފެންކޮށްލުމަށް، ޑީއާރޕީގެ ޒައީމް އާއި މަޖިލީހުގައި އެތިބި އޭނާގެ އައުވާނުން ބޭނުންވުމުންނެވެ. ރައްޔިތުންގެ ހައްގުތައް ފޭރިގަތުމުގައި، އަބަދުވެސް މި ދެފަރާތް ދަނީ އެކުގައި މަސައްކަތް ކުރަމުންނެވެ. ރައްޔިތުންގެ މަޖިލީހަކީ ހަގީގީ ރައްޔިތުންގެ މަޖިލީހަކަށް ވުމުގެ ފުރުސަތެއް ނެތެވެ.
މަގުގެ އަނެއްފަރާތުން ފެންނަނީ ދޮންވެ ފައްކާވަމުން އަންނަ އަނެއް ސަރުކާރެވެ. އެމްޑީޕީގެ ސަރުކާރެވެ. މި ސަރުކާރުގެ ލީޑަރަކަށް އެހުރީ، އަހަރުމެން މި ތިބި ބިކަ ހާލަތުން، އުފާފާގަތި އަދި ތާހިރު އެހެން ދިވެހި ރާއްޖެއަކަށް ގެންގޮސް ދިނުމަށް ތައްޔާރު ވެގެން ހުރި ލީޑަރެކެވެ.ނެވެ. ކަމަށް އެކަށޭނަ އަދި ކަންކުރުމަށް ނިޔަތްގަނެގެން ތިބި މީހުން ތިބީ އެމްޑީޕީގެ ކޮޅުގައެވެ. އެމްޑީޕީ ގެ ރިޔާސީ ކެންޑިޑޭޓާއެކު އެތިބީ ރައްޔިތުންގެ ސިގްނަލަކަށް ފުރިހަމަޔަށް ތައްޔާރު ވެގެން އެތުރިއޮތް އާ ސަރުކާރެކެވެ. ކުޑަ ސަރުކާރެކެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން، ބޯޅަ މިހާރު މިއޮތީ ރައްޔިތުންގެ އަތުގައެވެ. ގޯލު ޖަހާނީ މިފަހަރު ރައްޔިތުންނެވެ.

It is well known that the police bill was ratified in a jiffy for reasons only in favour of the president. Similary the allowances of Katheebs went the same manner. It happened on a Thursday afternoon. However, our reform minister Nasheed says it must take time to ratify the constitution. What he may have not realised is that the many parliament meetings to amend the constitution had been lost because quorom was not met. Who takes responsibility of this? When the government wants to pass a bill some members would sweep in like vultures and vote and then vanish!
This is not a legitimate government and more than one reason point out to this. Members of parliament, some of them are elected with government backing. Appointed members must not be there. So even the present constitution is tailor-made to fit the aging president who has ruled Maldives with an iron fist. Talk about the iron fist. Did you realise what happened to the late singer Naifaru Dhohokko? When he was asked what he would like to see in the future he said he would like to see a different government and his fate? He was banished. That is the kind of president Maumoon is. But now things are different. Now he is popularily known by a different name, is he not? Even this time and technological era Maumoon will definitely go for the old system and probably "win" the election. Who cares if it is free and fair or not. Right or wrong he is the captain. He rules the way he sees fit and will do so until he is demised or assassianated. Some nerd some time back stated that there are only 3 ways that Maumoon will not compete and win. They are either he passes away, or is assassinated or he steps down at will. Well he will not step down if he rules for another 30 years! Who is going to assassinate him? No one! Who is going to sin himself/herself killing a fragile old hag? Not worth!

I fully agree to your 3 ways for Maumoon not to compete the forthcoming election.
1) Maumoon passes away- But Maumoon does not believe in the day of judgment and he is confident that he would not die. He is doing every thing he could not to die with the assistance of doctors not to die at the expense of the innocent public. Maumoon will not pass away. Never.
2) Maumoon Assassinated- But nobody is capable of assassinating him. His cars are bullet proofed. There is a huge security force allocated for him at the expense of the public. I happened to visit the SAAF final this time at Srilanka. Long before he was supposed to leave the stadium after the win, the roads were blocked for traffic and for the pedestrians most of whom were Maldivians. Maumoon cannot be assassinated. Never..
3)Maumoon steps down at will. What for? His dead father before his death told him not compete for the 3rd term as the President. He did not want to listen to his father. Some of his friends told him not to compete for the presidency. He knows the anger of people for him. He knows the people's suffering because of him. Look at the people at Tsunami temporary tents around Maldives. What happened to the millions of dollars of foreign aid given to the tsunami affected people? Every single dollar have been snatched and transferred to his accounts around the world. Maumoon is living like as if he is living in heaven. He does not want to part with Theeemuge- the palace. He does not want to part with his luxurious transport in land and in sea. For all these reasons, Maumoon will not step down.
Maummoon, remember that your days of pleasure are coming to end. you have 109 days of pleasure left. HAND OVER THE PRESIDENCY TO ANNI- YOUR BEST FRIEND AND GO AWAY- GO AWAY- GOLHABOA.
