ހަމަ މިއުސޫލުން މިހާރު މީހުން ދިރިއުޅެމުންދާ ފުލެޓު ތަކުންވެސް ދަނީ ފައިސާ ނަގަމުންނެވެ. މިފައިސާ ވަންނަތަނެއް، ވާގޮތެއް އިގެނީ ކާކައްތޯއެވެ.

Why does it has to be only Male' people who can apply for these apartments? It show how much this government discriminates other Maldivians from the Male' people. Hulhumale' is build from the money of all Maldivians. Every Maldivian should have the right to apply any land or flat in anywhere in the country.
i am from the atolls, but whole my life i have lived in male' for the purpose of study and work. I am unable to apply for flats in Hulhumale' because i am not registered as a male person. For that purpose i have to leave my house in the island [last time i checked]. How can i leave everything in the island when there is not even hope that i will get a flat, far from affording it. And how come a lot of male' people have more than one land in the islands but still own the land in male'. Hulhumale is being reclaimed with our money too. We should have the same right to male' or any other land in maldives same as landlords of male'. The government should first provide all the facilities, i am talking about at least basic [education, health, job opportunities etc] equally to male' before they impose such restrictions. How unfair is this!?

its also good to look at the conditions of the flats. The size of the apartments are too small and its buit like the sixties military cells in Europe. Its not up to standards for such a high price.
